Ancient Indian Arts, like Yoga, Ayurveda, Chanting, and Meditation have immense beneficial impact on the body and mind. In earlier times Yoga, Ayurveda, Chanting, and Meditation were a way of life. We at Arkaya realize that today for most people it is no longer possible to pursue these arts as a way of life; however, one can use these arts and incorporate them in their everyday life to gain inner satisfaction, strength and peace. A proverb in Yajur Veda states, “A healthy body and sound mind is necessary to achieve success in life.” Life is increasingly becoming demanding, and time the most valuable resource. We are always on the run, always in a hurry. While most people try to keep their body fit to keep up with the rat race, almost everyone forgets about the mind. We at Arkaya believe that a healthy mind is equally if not more important than a healthy body. We believe that Yoga, combined with other ancient arts and techniques is the new-age fitness mantra. This not only focuses on keeping the body healthy but also more importantly helps one develop a sound mind. So no more running, no more shakes, no more artificial, lets be fit naturally.
