Su***de can be FOUGHT!!❤️‍🩹

1. Recognize warning signs
• Talking about wanting to die or feeling hopeless
• Withdrawal from people or activities
• Sudden mood changes (especially calmness after distress)
• Increased substance use or risky behavior

2. Encourage open conversation
• Ask directly but gently: “Are you thinking about harming yourself?”
• Listen without judgment or trying to “fix” everything
• Validate feelings (“That sounds really hard”)

3. Ensure immediate safety
• Do not leave the person alone if risk seems high
• Remove access to means (medications, sharp objects, etc.)
• Stay calm and present

Are you emotionally intelligent? Is AI?

Do you have—
1. Self-awareness – Understanding your own emotions, triggers, and how they affect your thoughts and behavior.
2. Self-regulation – Ability to control or manage your emotional reactions (e.g., staying calm instead of impulsive).
3. Empathy – Recognizing and understanding the emotions of others.
4. Social skills – Handling relationships effectively, including communication, conflict resolution, and cooperation.

Mental Health at Work: World Mental Health Day 2024

💡Decent work is good for mental health.

💡Poor working environments - including discrimination and inequality, excessive workloads, low job control and job insecurity - pose a risk to mental health.

💡15% of working-age adults were estimated to have a mental disorder in 2019.

💡Globally, an estimated 12 billion working days are lost every year to depression and anxiety at a cost of US$ 1 trillion per year in lost productivity.

💡There are effective actions to prevent mental health risks at work, protect and promote mental health at work, and support workers with mental health conditions.

🌍 World Health Day 2024 ❤️

“Knowledge is useless if you don’t share it”

Truly believe in this, what good is my education if I am not actually spreading the right awareness out there.

Specially talking to young girls holds a special meaning to me as I truly believe women are the source of greatest empathy and resilience, they not only have the capability to change their own life but also everyone else’s that they touch.

Even if I’m able to make one person feel inspired to achieve their utmost potential I would feel privileged.

This was a start to a new endeavour for me as well and I am really looking forward to keep doing more of it in the future ✨
