क्रॉनिक लिम्ब इस्कीमिया व गैंग्रीन में सफल लिंब सल्वेज सर्जरी

हाल ही में हमने एक मरीज में इलियोफेमोरल बायपास सर्जरी की, जो क्रॉनिक लिम्ब इस्कीमिया और गैंग्रीन से पीड़ित थे। मरीज के पैर और पंजे में कई लंबे समय से न भरने वाले घाव मौजूद थे।

👉 गैंग्रीन तब होता है जब पैर में खून की सप्लाई बहुत कम हो जाती है। यदि समय पर इलाज न हो, तो यह स्थिति पैर काटने (Amputation) तक पहुँच सकती है।

सर्जरी के बाद मरीज की स्थिति में उल्लेखनीय सुधार हुआ — पैर में रक्त प्रवाह बेहतर हुआ, दर्द में राहत मिली और लगभग सभी घाव भर चुके हैं। समय पर की गई वैस्कुलर सर्जरी से संक्रमण को बढ़ने से रोका गया और पैर को सुरक्षित रखा जा सका (Limb Salvage)।

A patient presented with sudden onset lower limb swelling, clinically suggestive of acute deep venous thrombosis. However, during intervention, the retrieved thrombus appeared organized, suggesting a chronic component, highlighting the concept of acute-on-chronic venous thrombosis.
After appropriate evaluation, mechanical venous thrombectomy was planned. While we have prior experience with AngioJet and Penumbra Lightning Flash, this was our first case using the Inari thrombectomy system.
The procedure achieved effective thrombus removal with satisfactory venous flow restoration.
At 1.5-month follow-up, the patient is clinically near-normal, with marked reduction in limb swelling and significant symptomatic improvement.
