Being a creator on IG and being a psychologist are two different things. When you see content on social media and follow creators because they call themselves professionals I urge you to look at their content with depth and use your own critical thinking and common sense before believing what they say.

Blanket statements like “I am a psychologist and I can assure you” can somwimtes be downright absurd and untrue, bordering professional misconduct and spreading of ill information. Infact it’s sometimes downright stupid , non researched and just a very juvenile, ill informed, and even prejudice, personal opinion masked as a professional one.

I want you to understand that sometimes professionals and good professionals, ethical ones might be average content creators while some famous content creator can have poor content that can sometimes even be unethical and crossing professional boundaries.

We see people based on what we wanna see.
We interact with them based on what we know about us and them.

But there’s always a side of them we don’t know.
How about we stop, take a step back and just know that there’s more to this person I know nothing about. And may be, just may be there are struggles and pain.

What I can do to make it all just better? Not because it’s my job or responsibility, but because it makes me more humane and the world a better place

So I choose kindness.
For myself and my peace.
I want that interaction to have that.
I want me in that moment to have that.
I want the person in the moment to have that.
