There’s a bun in the oven…and for once, it’s not chocolate-filled ✨

Truth is — I’ve been nervous to share this but I’m now heading into my third trimester, I’ve been pregnant since February…and all this while it’s been really hard for me to not share thisss, but honestly I’ve been a little scared.

My business has always been my first baby, and I’ve worried (probably more than I should have) about whether people would still order, still believe in what I do, or even hesitate to reach out to me…Only because I’m having a child 🤍

But honestly your excitement, encouragement, and “when’s your maternity cake range launching?” DMs have made me laugh, cry (hormones, hello), and feel so loved.. All of this has given me soo much strength & encouragement and I’ve tirelessly been working every single day to overcome my fear and to gain the confidence to be able to do it all.

This new journey, is just another adventure, one that shapes me & helps me grow, to be able to balance things & my time

I hope I’m able to be THAT super awesome person who is able to manage it all, but for now I’m super excited for what lies ahead ✨

Jamun season is here, and so is the hustle.
Sourcing these deep purple berries is no easy feat — they stain everything, need to be handpicked, carefully cleaned, and meticulously deseeded. It’s messy, slow, and slightly chaotic.

But the result? A dessert that captures the tang, colour and unmistakable flavour of this monsoon fruit in every bite

Being a young entrepreneur and pastry chef isn’t always easy. There are early mornings, long days, sleepless nights, aches & pains that no one talks about and a whole lot of trial and error…

But even on the tough days, one keeps going because I see something more, through what I call my little magic glasses.

To me, those glasses are my dreams. They help me look past the setbacks and focus on where I want to be. I see the bakery I’m working towards, the recipes I want to perfect, the team that I want to create and the people I hope to share my creations with.
These dreams don’t make things perfect, but they give me purpose!

And that’s what keeps me moving forward -one step, one pastry at a time 🤍

Throwback to My Days in Auroville ✨
At 21, I found myself in the heart of, a quiet, dreamy French town in South India, where life moved at its own rhythm, and where creativity thrived…Our cottage, tucked away from the world, surrounded by nothing but nature and the warmth of good company. No distractions, no rush—just us, our stories, and our love for food!

It was here that I fell in love with baking. Flour-dusted hands, the scent of freshly baked goods filling the morning air, the joy of creating something from scratch—it was magic!!

At the Boulangerie, we would wake up early, knead dough in the golden morning light, and spend the afternoons sharing meals that felt like poetry.

Looking back, those days shaped a part of me I cherish deeply. A time of simplicity, of connection, andddd of learning that the best things in life are often the ones made with love (and butter!).
