I am pleased to share that our narrative review, “Gene, genetics and genetic medicines in gastroenterology: Current status and its future”, has been published in the prestigious World Journal of Gastroenterology.
In this review, we discuss the expanding role of genetics, genetic medicine, and targeted therapies in gastroenterology, highlighting how these advances are transforming the understanding, diagnosis, and management of various gastrointestinal disorders. We focus on how precision medicine approaches can contribute to improved clinical outcomes across a wide spectrum of GI diseases.
We hope this article will help better understand the genetic basis of gastrointestinal disordersand encourage the integration of genetic and targeted therapies into routine clinical practice.
