Here’s a 5-point treatment plan for knee pain, designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, and strengthen the joint:
1. Rest and Activity Modification: Avoid activities that worsen the pain (like squatting, running, or climbing stairs).
2. Cold & Heat Therapy: Ice pack (15–20 minutes) 2–3 times a day for swelling and acute pain.
3. Stretching Exercises: Gentle stretches for hamstrings, quads, and calves to reduce muscle tightness.
4. Strengthening Exercises: Focus on quadriceps, glutes, and core for joint support.
5. Manual Therapy: Techniques like patellar mobilization, soft tissue massage, or ultrasound therapy can reduce pain and improve movement.
