2️⃣ Wet diaper – Discomfort
3️⃣ Gas / Colic – Abdominal pain
4️⃣ Need for burping
5️⃣ Overstimulation / tiredness
6️⃣ Need for comfort (touch, holding)
7️⃣ Temperature discomfort (too hot/cold)
8️⃣ Illness / infection (rare but important)
9️⃣ Sleep issues

💡 WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

• Feed regularly 🍼
• Check diaper frequently
• Burp properly after feeds
• Keep baby comfortable & calm
• Maintain proper sleep routine

⚠️ WHEN TO WORRY?

• Continuous crying without reason
• Poor feeding
• Fever or lethargy
• Vomiting / loose motions

🔍 RULE #1 – WATER FOR BABY

• ❌ 0–6 months: NO water (only breast milk/formula)
• ✅ For formula: Always use boiled water (till 6 months

🍼 RULE #2 – BOTTLE HYGIENE

• First 1 month: Boil bottle for 5 minutes
• After 1 month (term baby): Normal cleaning is enough
• Let bottles air dry before use

👶 FOR PRETERM BABIES

• Use bowl/spoon (paladai)
• Boil for first 3 months
• After that: Normal cleaning

⚠️ IMPORTANT TIPS

• Change bottle ni***es every 3 months
• Keep 4–5 bottles and rotate use
• You can use sterilizers (with temperature control)
