On behalf of the Kashmiri Pandit community and the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), we strongly condemn the shameful and unjust online abuse being hurled at our esteemed Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri. We extend our full, firm, and unshakable support to him and his family at this difficult moment.

Shri Misri is not just a senior diplomat, he is a symbol of professionalism, integrity, and patriotic service. He was carrying out his official duty in line with the decisions of the Government of India. Blaming him personally for a policy decision is completely baseless, unfair, and deeply irresponsible.

What is even more disturbing is the personal attack on his family, especially his daughter, for her independent humanitarian work. This is a new low in public discourse and must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Dragging a civil servant’s family into political disagreements is both unethical and un-Indian.

As a community that has suffered immense pain, exile, and injustice for decades, we, the Kashmiri Pandits, know the value of loyalty, integrity, and dedicated service to the nation. Shri Vikram Misri embodies all of these qualities and more. He deserves our respect, not abuse.

We urge all right-thinking citizens to reject this culture of hate and stand by those who are working for India’s interest with honesty and courage. We also request the Government of India to protect its officers from such online harassment and uphold their dignity.

The Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) and the wider KP community stand solidly with Shri Misri and salute his dedicated service.
