The department has completed more than 100 successful stem cell transplants and has an active ongoing matched unrelated donor (MUD) transplantation and haploidentical stem cell transplantation programme. It is an added seal of recognition that the institute is a member of National Marrow Donor Programme, USA (NMDP) in good standing since 2015.

A successful Clinical Research Capacity-Building Meeting was co-organized by CMC Ludhiana at GGSMC Faridkot under the ICMR–INTENT initiative. The programme brought together faculty and researchers from government medical colleges across Punjab and the MRU/MRHRU/ICMR network, fostering collaboration and excellence in clinical research.

With expert-led academic sessions on research methodology, clinical trials, ethics, and data management, the meeting marked an important step toward building a strong, collaborative research ecosystem aligned with the healthcare priorities of the state.

A day filled with joy and laughter! ✨ Our incredible CanKids patients from Clinical Hematology at CMC Ludhiana had an unforgettable outing at Arcade ! 🤩

It was truly heartwarming to see their smiles light up the arcade as they enjoyed everything from thrilling racing games and air hockey to trying their luck at the claw machine. Every moment was a testament to their incredible spirit and resilience.

These outings are so vital for bringing moments of fun and normalcy into their lives, creating beautiful memories, and fostering a sense of community. A huge thank you to everyone who made this day possible!
