Heart and circulatory disease is still one of the biggest killers in india. If you want to keep your heart in great shape, here are 10 things you can do:

If you have a diet high in salt, itโ€™s likely that your blood pressure could be high too โ€“ which means you have an increased risk of suffering from heart disease or stroke. The recommended maximum daily intake of salt is just 6g for adults and 3g for children (2.5g of salt is the equivalent of 1g of sodium). Cut down by trying not to use any salt at all at the table and reducing how much you use in cooking.

So switch to semi-skimmed milk and low-fat dairy foods instead of full-fat ones, choose lean cuts of meats and steam or grill instead of frying.

Some fruits and veg that are rich in soluble fibre may also help to lower your cholesterol, including citrus fruits, sweet potato, mango and most beans and pulses.

When a person is having a stroke, every second counts. And what you do in those critical moments can potentially help save someoneโ€™s life.
A stroke is often described as a โ€œbrain attack.โ€ which often occurs either because of formation of a clot in vessel in brain or due to rupture of that vessel because of uncontrolled blood pressure.There are certain things which one should do and should avoid in such situation.
๐Ÿฏ ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐——๐—ผ ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—œ๐˜€ ๐—›๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ฒ:
1. Call 108 immediately
If u do observe any symptoms just call 108 immediately. To recognise the symptom of stroke just remember ๐—™๐—”๐—ฆ๐—ง ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜
๐—™ FACE
Ask them to smile. Does one side look like it's drooping?
๐—” ARM
Instruct them to raise both arms. Does one arm drift?
๐—ฆ SPEECH
Ask them to say something. Does it sound strange?
๐—ง TIME
If you observe symptoms, call 108 immediately.

2. Note the time you first see symptoms
A clot-busting medication called tPA, or tissue plasminogen activator, can be given to someone if theyโ€™re having a stroke, potentially reversing or stopping symptoms from developing. But it has to be given within 4.5 hours of the start of symptoms, so reaching hospital as soon as possible is important part of treatment.

3. Perform CPR, if necessary
Most stroke patients donโ€™t require CPR, But if your friend or spouse is unconscious when you find her, check her pulse and breathing. If you find none, call 108 and start CPR while youโ€™re waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

1. Do Not Let that person go to sleep
A lot of patients come in and say they want to sleep for a few hours because they are feeling tired.
But time is important. The medication we can give a stroke survivor is time-sensitive. They should not go to sleep Instead, they should just go immediately to the hospital.

2. Do Not Give them medication, food, or drinks
To be safe, donโ€™t give someone who has a stroke any medication.

You also shouldnโ€™t give him food or drinks before the ambulance comes. โ€œSometimes, a stroke affects their ability to swallow,โ€ so giving something to eat or drink can be life threatening.

3. Do Not Drive yourself or someone else to the hospital
You also donโ€™t want to drive yourself to a hospital in the event that your stroke symptoms worsen and impair your ability to drive safely

The year 2020 has been an unpredictable ride through the pandemic, protests and many more difficulties that had made living life quite hard for people across the globe. But as we near the end of this year, we all should accept the fact that with every passing year, one should leave behind the bad memories and mistakes. So now, as we embrace the upcoming year, 2021, let us all be positive and cheery with shining spirits and aspirations for the future. We should vow to not let the negative times affect us in looking forward to the future and working hard to achieve our dreams and ambitions.
