ਅੱਜ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਸਨ…
ਅਤੇ ਦਰਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਦਿਲ।

ਪਚਵੰਜਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ —
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ,
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੋਝ ਦੇ ਹੰਝੂ ਸਾਂਭੀ ਬੈਠੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ —
ਨਾ “ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ” ਬਣ ਕੇ,
ਨਾ “ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ” ਬਣ ਕੇ…
ਪਰ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਬਣ ਕੇ।

ਅੱਜ ਹੱਥ ਜੋ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ,
ਉਹੀ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਅੱਜ ਕੁਝ ਪਲਾਂ ਲਈ
ਗਰੀਬੀ ਹਾਰ ਗਈ,
ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਈ।

ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਮੀ
ਕੋਈ ਕੈਮਰਾ ਕੈਦ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ।
ਉਸ ਪਲ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਰਾਈ
ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ —
ਅੱਜ ਉਮੀਦ ਵੰਡੀ ਗਈ,
ਹੌਸਲਾ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ,
ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ —
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ!”

ਅੱਜ ਹਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿੱਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੌਲੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ —
“ਅਸੀਂ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ।” 🙏🏻
