Introduction to the topics covered in the basic Astrology Course
(JYOTISHA PRAVEENA)
Astrology is as old as the Vedas themselves. The Vedas are sacred scriptures and Astrology is a part of the Veda known as Vedanga. In this course of astrology, we learn the laws of astrology with logics and reasoning.
Introduction to Astrology
In this part of course students will be introduced to the basic laws of astrology i.e.
Theory of time and Astrology,
History of Astrology,
Application of Astrology and its uses and values,
Astrology and Modern Science,
Introduction to the horoscope types and its constituents will be explained.
Signification of Houses
In Jyotish, houses are most important as they are the main source of prediction. All events of a native’s life can be seen through the houses. During this study, we will explore the treasures of all twelve houses i.e. their significations, karakas, places and everything regarding the twelve houses of the horoscope.
Signification of Signs
Masses are aware of their Sun sign or Moon sign but merely knowing birth sign is dangerous. Their knowledge of signs is very limited and they do not know the twelve signs in-depth. Nature, Direction and all other effects of all signs will be explored in-depth during the session.
Signification of Planets
Planets are continuously moving in the universe and impacting all the living and non-living beings. Analyse of birth chart requires a thorough understanding of the nature of planets. Hence detailed study of the Planets, their Significations, and Effects, Exaltation & Debilitation sign, Own Sign and other effects of Planets will be discussed in this session.
Manglik Dosha
Mars is the planet of energy, disputes and fire. The effect of Mars on the married life is termed as Manglik. Its adverse effects can give extreme results. The formation of manglik in various houses, its effects and remedies will be taught during the study of Manglik.
Kaal Sarpa Yoga
Kaal Sarpa Yoga is formed by Rahu & Ketu and it explores the effect of past life karmas. To understand the effects of past life karmas the formation of Kaal Sarpa Yoga in specific houses is very important. Effects and remedies of KSY will be taught during the study of Kaal Sarpa Yoga (KSY).
Kartika Dosha
Kartika Dosha at birth is because of malefic placement of Sun in birth chart. It directly affects the name, fame and health of the native. Kartika dosha formation, its effects and remedies are taught during the course.
Sadesati its Cause and Effects in Astrology
Saturn is the great teacher. The teaching of Saturn can be experienced during the period of Sadesati. Its effect and remedies will be described in the scientific and traditional ways.

Transit: The backbone of Predictions in Astrology
Transit is an essential ingredient for accurate astrological prediction. The planets of birth chart are fixed, but the planets of universe are continuously moving and affecting the living or non-living. The effects of transiting planets will be described in this section.

Introduction of Gems, their importance and effects will be taught to students, along with theory. Method of wearing various gems i.e. use of gems in different metals, fingers, days, etc. will be explained in detail.

The negative effects from planets can be minimized through donation. But to get optimum benefit from your donations, it is very important to know precisely what to donate, where to donate and at what time to donate. The exact system of donation will be introduced to students.
