Bridging Classroom Learning with Professional Counselling Practice
A practical training session on “Understanding the Professional Counselling Framework” was conducted for the Bachelor’s and Master’s students of Psychology on 12th March from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Samuel Teja, Senior Counselling Psychologist, Professional Psychological Trainer, and Certified Career Analyst.
The focus of the session was to help students understand how counselling theories are applied in real-life professional practice.
Through practical demonstrations and role-play counselling activities, students gained hands-on exposure to the counselling process, including rapport building, assessment, and intervention techniques.
It was an engaging and insightful session that helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional counselling practice.
