PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is a health care profession concerned with the assessment, maintenance and restoration of physical functions of the body. It is a form of treatment without medicines that uses physical means (electrical and manual) thereby reducing the possibility of side effects. With emphasis on manual skills patients are guided through movements that focus on functional improvement and increased mobility. This upcoming field is beneficial in management of wide range of injuries including sports injuries (sprain, strain, muscle pull), back & neck pain (spondylitis), postural problems, occupational injuries, arthritis (Joint pains), amputee rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries (Paralysis), Post Polio cases, chronic air travel disease, rehabilitation following cardiac surgery, stroke rehabilitation (Hemiplegia), asthma management, paediatric cases (Neurological-PT Cardio respiratory-PT & Orthopaedics PT), geriatric problems, pre-post surgical conditions, Obstetrics & Gynae (Prenatal, Peri-natal, Post-natal) and also important means for fitness and endurance training to sports individuals. These health professionals can work in health care settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, private practice, rehabilitation centers, patient's homes, fitness centres, sport venues, aged care centers, industrial set ups, nursing homes and educational institutions. GENERAL O.P.D
The college is getting very good response from the public in and around Ludhiana as it is providing pain management and first class therapy using ultra modern equipments handled by eminent doctors in their respective fields. The hospital O.P.D maintains a record of around 80 patients per day giving service to the humanity on a charitable basis. SPECIALTY O.P.D. This college is running a specialty OPD equipped with ultramodern, sophisticated gadgets like LASER, Static Ultrasound (Noblelife), Electro Currents (Phyaction series) setup in a hazard free, healthy environments. Highly qualified doctors consultation and treatment are provided to the patients from all community on a charitable basis. NEURO-REHAB UNIT
The college is running Neuro Developmental therapy and Sensory Integration Unit for the Cerebral Palsy and other exceptional children inside the campus. The college is serving these children purely on a charitable basis. EXERCISE THERAPY UNIT
We have an Exercise Therapy unit, which includes most of the commonly required equipments by the patients like bicycle ergometer, Shoulder wheel, Wall Ladder, Wrist Rotator, Continuous passive mobilizer (CPM), Trampoline, Parallel Bars, Whirlpool Bath, Wobble Board, Rowing Machine, Fat Mobilizing Roller, Suspension Therapy Unit, Traction Unit, Tread Mill, Quadriceps table, Hand therapy unit etc. ELECTRO THERAPY DEPARTMENT
Electro Therapy Department is well equipped with latest technology machines including Phyaction, Noblelife, Laser, Short wave Diathermy, Interferential currents etc. RURAL OUT REACH PROGRAMME-FREE MEDICAL CAMPS
The college is conducting free medical camps in frequent intervals in and around the villages of Ludhiana. Besides service to community, it gives our students a broader horizon for treating patients. The college is getting a very good response and has treated more than 2500 patients so far with the follow up of one-week free treatment from the day of camp. ARTIFICIAL LIMB CENTRE
The college has recently started its orthotic and prosthetic lab to serve the handicapped people on a charitable basis.

ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ, ਨਾਦ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ਼ ਵਿਖੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੇਟਾ ਕੇਵਲ 10 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ 100 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ, "ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਪੜੋ ਆਗੂ ਬਣੋ" ਸੀ।
