We are delighted to announce that ‘Corneal Transplant’ services have officially resumed at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana after a year-long hiatus. This significant milestone has been made possible through the unwavering support and persistent efforts of DMC&H Management and Administration.
Dr. Gurvinder Kaur, Professor and Head, Department of Ophthalmology, DMC&H, has successfully performed two corneal transplant surgeries utilizing eyes donated by a patient from our hospital. We extend our deepest gratitude to the donor's family for their remarkable generosity and invaluable contribution to this noble cause..

Patients in need of a corneal transplant are encouraged to visit the Eye OPD and register in our dedicated recipient register so they can be contacted when a donor cornea is available.
