Case of vocal cord nodule
name -xyz
Age-38 yr male
Occupation-banker
Chief complaint-difficulty in speech
Painful oration since last -15-20 days
Consulted ent
Diagnosed as vocal cord nodule name
No relief from steroids,antihistamines etc
Was adviced furthur course for 1 month else surgical resection!
Past history -diabetic since 8-9 yr
H/o renal calculi reoccurent improved by homeopathy
As speech is involved and his job demanded constant giving of instructions and motivating juniors to achieve target he was quiet in stress!
On asking how it started n what happened ??
He had an argument with his boss !n he had gvn that company 18 yrs and rose it to great heights !
But a junior was gvn preference!
He acted like his senior (was boss relative )
So he threatened to leave ..
But they didn’t call him back
After leaving the company his voice started worsening !
There were financial constraints too at new job!
His gcs was first repeated but failed to give slightest relief(gcs had reduced hbac from 10 to 7 ,and helped in renal calculi too )
So probed on these lines
Took
Forsaken (from company and job it meant home to him)
A/f discords between chief and subordinates
Polyp larynx
Single dose of Merc iod flavum 200
Pain relieved in 24 hours
Speech improved 70%inna week
Follow up laryngoscopy after 1 month showed decrease in size so surgery postponed !!
Final laryngosvopy after 3 months awaited !!
