8 सिद्धियों के बाद जो सम्पूर्ण ब्रम्हांड की प्रकृति शक्ति है वो माँ सिद्धिदात्री है।माँ सिद्धिदात्री देवी भगवती का नौवां स्वरूप हैं।भगतों के लिए माँ सिद्धिदात्री बहार की बांसुरी है।
माँ सिद्धिदात्री भगवान विष्णु की अर्धांगिनी है।माता सिद्धिदात्री के पास गरिमा, लघिमा, प्राप्ति, वशित्व, प्राकाम्य, महिमा, अणिमा और ईशित्व यह आठ सिद्धियां हैं।हनुमान चालिसा में उल्लेख मिलता है ‘अष्ट सिद्धि नव निधि के दाता, अस वर दीन्ह जानकी माता’ में इन्हीं अष्ट सिद्धियों के बारे में बताया गया है।
माँ को मौसमी फल, चना, पूड़ी, खीर, नारियल और हलवा अतिप्रिय है।माँ को इन चीजों का भोग लगाने से वह प्रसन्न होती हैं।
मां सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा के बाद कन्या पूजन में कुंवारी कन्याओं को घर बुलाकर उनके पैर धोने चाहिए और फिर मंत्र द्वारा पंचोपचार पूजन करना चाहिए। इसके बाद सभी कन्याओं और लांगूरा को पूरी, सब्जी, हलवा और काले चना आदि का भोजन कराएं। उनकी वैसे ही सेवा करें जैसा खुद माता आपके घर आई हुई हो।कन्याओं के साथ एक बालक को भी भोजन करना चाहिए।बालक को बटुक भैरव और लांगूरा के रूप में पूजा की जाती है। देवी की रक्षा और सेवा के लिए भगवान शिव ने हर शक्तिपीठ के साथ-साथ एक भैरव को भी रखा हुआ है। इसलिए कन्या पूजन में एक बालक का होना भी जरूरी है।

ह्रीं क्लीं ऐं सिद्धये नम:।
या देवी सर्वभूतेषु मां सिद्धिदात्री रूपेण संस्थिता।
नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।

After 8 siddhis, the power of the whole universe is Maa Siddhidatri. Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth form of Goddess Bhagwati. Mother Siddhidatri is the flute of spring for the devotees.
Maa Siddhidatri is the consort of Lord Vishnu. Maa Siddhidatri has eight Siddhis namely Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Vash*tva, Prakamya, Mahima, Anima and Ish*tva. It has been told in the scriptures that by the grace of the maa, all the Gods and Goddesses have attained siddhis.
It is mentioned in Hanuman Chalisa, 'As var Dinh Janki Mata, the donor of Ashta Siddhi Nav Nidhi', these eight siddhis have been told.
Maa is very fond of seasonal fruits, gram, puri, kheer, coconut and halwa. She is pleased by offering these things to the Maa.
After worshiping Maa Siddhidatri, unmarried girls should be called home in Kanya Puja and wash their feet and then Panchopchar worship should be done by mantra. After this, all the girls and langura should be given food of poori, vegetables, halwa, and black gram, etc.
Serve them in the same way as the Maa herself has come to your house. A boy should also eat food with the girls. The child is worshiped in the form of Batuk Bhairav and Langura. To protect and serve the Goddess, Lord Shiva has kept a Bhairav along with every Shaktipeeth.
Therefore, it is also necessary to have a boy in Kanya Puja.
