మనం ఎవ్వరూ ఊహించని విధంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరినీ ఈ కొరొనా మహమ్మారి ఇబ్బంది పెడుతోంది. ఇంత కష్టమైన రోజుల్లో కూడా ఆది నుండి తమ ప్రాణాలను పణంగా పెట్టి మదనపల్లె మునిసిపాలిటీ పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులు మరియు వార్డు వాలంటీర్లు ఎంతో కష్టపడి పని చెయ్యటం మనం చూశాము. వీరికొసం ఏదైనా చెయ్యాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో, మదనపల్లె పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులకు మరియు వార్డు వాలంటీర్లకు ( 25 వ వార్డు) వారి కుటుంబంలో నలుగురికి ' దృష్టి కంటి ఆసుపత్రి ' నందు డా: యన్.వంశీధర్ రెడ్డి గారిచే ఉచిత కంటి పరీక్షలు మరియు *"కంటి శుక్లాల"* ఆపరేషన్లు చెయ్యతలిచారు.

***( ప్రస్తుతం ' కంటి శుక్లాలు' ఆపరేషన్ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ లో ఇంకా చేర్చబడలేదు.)

మన ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి గారి స్పూర్తి తో చేపడుతున్న ఈ ఉచిత కంటి చికిత్సా కార్యక్రమం COVID -19 తీవ్రత తగ్గే వరకు కొనసాగించడం జరుగుతుంది అని డా: యన్ వంశీధర్ రెడ్డి గారు తెలిపారు.

What we see here is Retina of the eye of a 34 year old male. He had History of trauma { tennis ball injury } 2 years ago after which he had taken some primary treatment and left for MiddleEast for work. Recently he came to our center with minimal blurring of vision. On examination we noticed permanent retinal scars in that eye as we can see in the photos. Now he has good central vision.

But this eye has to be examined thoroughly by a retinal surgeon for any peripheral retinal tears which can lead to Retinal Detachment which ultimately needs a major surgery.

Dr Anand a Retinal Surgeon from Bangalore visits our hospital on 3rd and 16th of every month.

Another patient with severe non proliferative diabetic retinopathy changes in right eye and advanced diabetic retinopathy changes in left eye.

LEFT EYE - Shows vitreous tractions which could lead to retinal detachment if left untreated.

Just imagine she never went to an eye doctor and inspite of being a diabetic for many years.

That is why opthalmologists insist on yearly Retinal examination for all diabetic patients.

Another patient with Both Eyes : Persistent CSME partially lasered PDR. She was already given Intravitreal Anti Veg F injections.

She probably needs Repeated inecctions of Anti Veg F and completion of PRP lasers and we can save her vision quality.

All these procedures can be done at Madnapalle at our Hospital. Our aim is to clearly explain the patient about the issue and to save the patient from loosing more vision.
