One of the most rewarding mechanical thrombectomies — a 30-year-old young male presented with acute left MCA stroke, sudden loss of speech, and hemiplegia. He underwent mechanical thrombectomy with first-pass TICI 3 recanalization in 20 minutes. Postprocedure, he had regained his speech and right limb power to 4/5. Timely action saves neurons and lives.

A middle-aged man 🚶‍♂️ with a history of heavy smoking 🚬 presented with recurrent posterior circulation TIAs—dizziness, imbalance, and visual disturbances 👁️‍🗨️.

🧩 Workup revealed a severely stenotic, ulcerated plaque in the mid-basilar artery—a high-risk and challenging location to intervene.

🔧 After thorough evaluation, we proceeded with endovascular stenting of the basilar artery using a carefully tailored approach.

🎯 The procedure was successful, and the patient has remained event-free on follow-up—a rewarding outcome for a critical condition!

🩺 A reminder that timely diagnosis and intervention can make all the difference in posterior circulation strokes.

An elderly male with a symptomatic dolichoectatcic fusiform basilar tip -P1PCA aneurysm was successfully treated with braided stent monotherapy. Given the high perforator ischemia risk ; slow flow diversion was offered promoting gradual thrombosis while preserving vital perforators. Patient has no further events on follow up
