Falling into Chakrasana from Standing

Where courage meets flexibility… where breath meets being.

Not just a backbend — it’s a trust fall into your own strength.

Step-by-Step Flow

1. Start in Tadasana
Ground your feet. Engage thighs. Spine tall.
Arms rise with inhale

2. Lift & Open
Extend arms overhead, palms facing each other.
Chest lifts, heart opens

3. Controlled Backbend
Push hips slightly forward
Lift through chest (NOT lower back)
Gaze goes back slowly

4. Deep Arch (Mid Drop)
Bend knees gently
Keep core active
Move with breath — no rush

5. Landing into Wheel
Place palms firmly on the mat

Alignment Check:
Wrists under shoulders
Palms shoulder-width apart
Fingers pointing toward feet
Elbows NOT flaring out

Ustrasana (Camel Pose) is a deep backbend that energizes the body and improves posture. It stretches the entire front body while strengthening the back.

Anatomy Focus:
• Primary stretch: Chest (pectoralis major & minor), hip flexors (psoas)
• Strengthens: Lower back (erector spinae), glutes, hamstrings
• Opens: Shoulders & thoracic spine
• Engages: Core for stability and spinal support

First Workshop. First Step. A Beginning I Will Always Hold Close 💛

There’s something incredibly special about your first.

And today… I got to live mine.
Standing in front of these young minds, representing Shadyuktha Yog, I didn’t just feel like a teacher…
I felt like a responsibility, a purpose, and a dream coming alive.

Watching these children breathe, stretch, smile, and slowly connect with themselves…
reminded me why this journey began in the first place.

This is not just yoga.
This is planting seeds of awareness, calmness, and strength at a young age 🌱

Being the founder and getting to guide my very first workshop…
is a privilege I will always be grateful for.

This is just the beginning. ✨
