Ever wondered why we perform Arati?

Arati is a sacred ritual of offering light to the Divine. The flame represents knowledge, purity, and the presence of the divine light within all of us. As the lamp is gently waved before the deity, it symbolizes removing darkness and ignorance from our lives.

The ringing of bells, the fragrance of incense, and the glow of the flame create an atmosphere of devotion and gratitude. In that moment, we offer not just the light—but our hearts, our prayers, and our surrender.

Arati reminds us that just as the flame shines brightly, the divine light within us can also illuminate our lives and guide us on the path of peace and wisdom.

The employees of Powergrid shared how these 3 days at the ashram became a meaningful pause from their routine. Through yoga, meditation, and guided sessions, they experienced a sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance—something they carry back with them beyond the retreat.

Triangle Pose (Trikonasana) is an expansive posture that invites the body to open outward with stability and grace. As the feet ground firmly into the earth and the arms extend in opposite directions, the body creates space through the sides, allowing the chest to gently open.

Rather than reaching for depth, the posture encourages length and alignment. With steady breath and mindful awareness, the legs engage, the spine elongates, and the body finds a balance between effort and ease.

Traditionally, Trikonasana is known to strengthen the legs, stretch the hips and hamstrings, improve digestion, and enhance overall balance while bringing a sense of clarity and calm to the mind.

Practice with care — those with neck discomfort or low blood pressure should move mindfully and avoid strain. Keep the chest open, avoid collapsing into the lower side, and let the movement arise from stability rather than force.

In the quiet rhythm of breath and extension, the body discovers both strength and spaciousness.

Standing Forward Bend (Padahastasana) is a grounding posture that invites the body to fold inward with softness and awareness. As the torso gently moves toward the legs and the hands rest beneath the feet, the spine lengthens and the back body begins to release tension.

Rather than forcing the stretch, the posture encourages a calm surrender to gravity. With steady breathing and mindful attention, the hamstrings, calves, and spine gradually open, creating a feeling of lightness and ease.

Traditionally, Padahastasana is known to stretch the back of the body, stimulate the abdominal organs, and improve circulation while helping calm the nervous system.

Practice with care — those with severe lower back problems, vertigo, or recent spinal injuries should approach the pose gently or seek guidance. Keep the knees softly bent if needed and avoid straining the neck.

In quiet stillness and steady breath, the body discovers both release and balance.

Yoga is not just postures… it is a way of living. 🕉️

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna teaches Arjuna that true yoga is balance, discipline, and union with the Divine.

In this reel, Swami Hariomananda explains what the Gita truly says about yoga.

Listen… this wisdom can transform the way you live.

Crow Pose (Kakasana) is a posture that cultivates balance, focus, and inner confidence. As the body gently leans forward and the feet lift from the ground, the arms become the steady foundation supporting the body.

Rather than forcing the lift, the posture invites patience and mindful awareness. With calm breathing and steady focus, the body gradually develops strength in the wrists, arms, and core.

Traditionally, Kakasana helps strengthen the upper body, improve concentration, and develop a sense of balance between effort and ease.

Practice with care — those with wrist injuries, shoulder discomfort, or high blood pressure should approach the pose gently or seek proper guidance. Keep the gaze steady, engage the core, and avoid putting excessive pressure on the wrists.

In patience and steady breath, balance naturally arises.

The Power of Five Minutes. ⏳🧘‍♂️

Can five minutes of silence change your life?

In a world filled with constant noise, even a few quiet moments can help the mind slow down and the breath settle. Silence creates space to notice your thoughts, emotions, and the subtle shifts within.

With regular pauses, stress softens, clarity grows, and you begin to feel more grounded. Sometimes, the answers we seek are found in the moments we choose to be still.

Taking just five minutes to sit in silence can gently reset your mind and reconnect you with the present moment. It’s a simple practice that invites calm, awareness, and a deeper understanding of yourself — reminding you that not every change requires effort; sometimes it only requires stillness.

🌿 Pause today. Breathe slowly. Listen within.
