*Kamala's Defeat is More Important than Trump's Victory: Saurabh Shah*
(Good Morning, Newspremi.com: Thursday, November 7, 2024)
In the entire history of the United States, no president or presidential candidate has ever spoken about India in the way that Donald Trump did during his election campaign:
“I am a big fan of Hindus and a big fan of India… Let me tell you, if I am elected as president, a true friend of Indians and Hindus will be in the White House, you can be sure of that. (For decades) the generations of Indians and Hindus living in America have made this country a powerful nation, a strength beyond anyone’s imagination, due to their hard work, their education, and their courageous nature, they have brought great prosperity to America. But we all know that prosperity (cannot be sustained) without safety and security. And that’s why we value our beloved friend, India, which has stood with America in the fight against fanatic Islamic terrorism.”
Trump said these words at a public gathering of Indians and Hindus living in America. No American leader would dare say something like this. Did Trump say these words to please Indians and Hindus? If saying such things would bring votes, then why didn’t Kamala Harris say it? Why didn’t Joe Biden say it during the 2020 campaign? Why didn’t Hillary Clinton say it in 2016? Why didn’t Barack Obama say it in 2012 or 2008?
Donald Trump genuinely cares about the interests of Indians and Hindus. Kamala, Biden, Hillary, Obama, and others among the leftist Democrats do not.
Kamala Harris’s mother is an Indian Hindu, and her father is a Black man from Jamaica in Africa. Kamala calls herself half Black and half American instead of half Indian or half Hindu, as if she feels ashamed of being born to a Hindu mother.
Donald Trump's 40-year-old vice president, J.D. Vance, is married to Usha, whose Telugu-speaking parents lived in Andhra Pradesh until 1980 before settling in America.
