Food safety has got great significance nowadays. Ayurveda is giving very much importance to food safety and we can see that in its Classical texts. According to my point of view, for food safety, not only the quality or the properties of food matters, but also how and when we are using it matters.
Ayurveda saying आहारं महाभैषज्यं। That means 'Food is the greatest medicine'.
So let us all have Safe and healthy food.

Happy Ayurveda Day Wishes To All. At present era the importance of Ayurveda is very high. Ayurveda teaches us how to maintain the health of an individual and also how to do treatment of the diseased one. As Ayurveda is an Indian originated Science of life, we all can be proud on this great day.
The basis principles of Ayurveda are Tridosha sidhantha, Sapthadhatu sidhantha, panchabhotika sidhantha etc. Even it is more than 3500 year old science, the basic principles of this science are still remaining constant. This showing the authenticity of the science and as an Ayurvedic physician I feel very proud.
To study this science and to understand this in proper way, the knowledge of Sanskrit language is inevitable and other शास्त्राः as well.
