Breastfeeding (स्तनपान)

Today, we conducted an insightful CME session on Breastfeeding at Chelawat Hospital, Mandsaur, aimed at strengthening awareness and clinical practices among our healthcare team.

We were privileged to have Mrs. Gulista Bee and Mrs. Reena Sunarthi from SNCU, District Hospital Mandsaur as our esteemed speakers.

Their practical insights and real-world experiences made the session highly valuable.

The CME was attended by our dedicated hospital staff along with our Director Dr Pradeep Chelawat and turned into a truly interactive and engaging discussion, addressing common challenges and evidence-based practices in breastfeeding support.

आज चेलावत हॉस्पिटल, मंदसौर में स्तनपान (Breastfeeding) विषय पर एक ज्ञानवर्धक CME सत्र आयोजित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर श्रीमती गुलिस्ता बी एवं श्रीमती रीना सुनार्थी (SNCU, जिला अस्पताल, मंदसौर) ने अपने अनुभव और विशेषज्ञता से सभी को महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्रदान की।

इस सत्र में हॉस्पिटल के स्टाफ एवं डायरेक्टर डॉ. प्रदीप चेलावत की उपस्थिति रही। पूरा सत्र अत्यंत इंटरैक्टिव और सहभागी रहा, जिसमें स्तनपान से जुड़ी व्यावहारिक समस्याओं और उनके समाधान पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।

ऐसे शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम हमारे संस्थान की निरंतर सीखने और बेहतर मरीज देखभाल के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाते हैं।

I am pleased to share that I have been elected as

Co-opted National Executive Committee Member of the International Society of Colo Proctology (ISCP)

Founded by the late Dr Shantikumar Chivate sir the ISCP has constantly worked towards expanding the art of Coloproctology - most common diseases among them being Piles, Fissure, Fistula, Pilonidal sinuses.

Looking forward to contributing towards advancing the science and practice of coloproctology, and working alongside esteemed colleagues for the betterment of patient care.

It is an honour to serve the society under the leadership of President- Dr Laxmikant Ladukar and secy Dr Neeraj Goyal.
Sincere thanks to Dr Prashant Rahate.

V One Hospital, Indore.

Happy to share. I was invited as an operating faculty to the Live operative workshop organised by Indore Laparoscopy Center Dr Achal Agrawal sir.

Demonstrated Live surgery for an enthusiastic audience by performing Live -

1. Laparoscopic Inguinal hernia surgery for a Bilateral *Inguinal Hernia* (BILATERAL TEP)

2. Laparoscopic surgery for abdominal wall incisional hernia (IPOM)

3. Upper GI endoscopy (before a bariatric surgery)

4. Assisting in other surgeries.

A total of 8 procedures were demonstrated to the delegates present who appreciated the technical tips and ex*****on of the procedures.

My thanks to Dr Achal Agrawal sir for the opportunity to operate alongside my brothers Sudesh Sharda Rohan Jain in a world class surgical setup at V one hospital. I thank the OT for choosing me 🙏😀. Thanks to the team at Medtronic for oragnising a wonderful event.

Worldcon 2026, Indore.

Annual International Conference of the International Society of Coloproctology (ISCP).

Participated in my capacity as Co-Secretary of the Organising Committee and faculty.

The success of the conference resonated in the entire city, India and abroad.

Was the course Faculty at IRCAD Indore, at Sri Aurobindo Medical College, for the Colonoscopy course under the leadership of Mahak Bhandari sir. Thank you for the Wonderful hospitality and the best cricket match ever! Thankyou Easwar Moorthy sir for the opportunity.

Participated and moderated various sessions throughout the conference over 4 days and also spoke on Chemical Sphincterotomy.The talk was well appreciated by the Chair and delegates present.

It was an honor of lifetime to read the introduction of my teacher- Padmashri Dr Pradeep Chowbey sir for his citation lecture. Grateful to ISCP for the opportunity entrusted.

It was an honour to represent MP alongside my brothers - Dr Ishant Chaurasia- Laparoscopic & Bariatric Mayank Gupta Sudesh Sharda Indore Laparoscopy Center Rohan Jain Devendra Chouhan and Akshay Sharma sir. Only Ishant could have pulled this one off!

Thanks to the ISCP leadership for entrusting the responsibility of carrying out the conference at MP. Regards to Dr Prashant Rahate sir, Dr Ladukar sir, Dr Dinesh shah, Dr Neeraj , Dr Shanti ma'am, Dr Anshul for the support and encouragement.

Artificial Intelligence Workshop for OSSICON (Obesity Surgery Society of India's Annual Conference), Ahmedabad - 26 Feb 2026.

Two important talks and a live demo of two AI tools -

1. Internet of things in healthcare
2. Future of Bariatric Surgery
3. Live demo of Google Whisk, Google Flow for content creation.

One month of hard work, research and experiments culminated in the most satisfying talks and workshop. The level of content and the research (Nobel level! - How Nobel prize-winning research of 2023, 2024,2025 will reshape the field of Bariatrics over the next 10 years!) journey in making the presentations was amazing and enjoyable.

I thanks OSSI , Dr Manish Khetan sir and Kshipra Dhawan ma'am for the opportunity. Always an honour to speak besides Mayank Jain sir, Anshuman Kaushal sir, keep learning from them immensely everytime I get the opportunity.

Caught up with my teachers. good friends and colleagues even though for a short while.

CME on " Endoscopy for Nursing professionals. "

A CME was conducted for nursing professionals on the intricacies of Endoscopy on 19 February 2026.

Mr Shri Ram Gurjar prepared the entire topic and presented it in front of the nursing staff and Doctors. A detailed discussion on patient care, both before, during, and after the Endoscopy, also ensued.

The meeting was presided by Priyank Chelawat and also present were our International student observer from Singapore - Mr Jenil , who shared his observations and views of healthcare system in Singapore.

CMEs are conducted on various topics of academic interests at Chelawat Hospital every Wednesday/Thursday where staff make and present to the gathering about general topics of interest regularly.
