SMILE MAKEOVER

Patient walked in with a complaint of discolored upper front teeth and was concerned about her appearance.

History: Patient had undergone multiple composite restoration on her maxillary anterior teeth which had discolored over a period of time.

Treatment plan: Smile designing with E-max veneers for maxillary anterior teeth.

This gentleman visited us because he severely proclined upper front teeth. He gave an history of trauma to the front teeth because of its proclination, which was pretty much evident from the discolouration also.

So the treatment that was planned for this particular individual was to carry rct first to seal the open root apex (seen in radiograph) followed by orthodontics, to close the spaces and correct the proclination. Followed by prosthetic crown to correct the discolouration and the size of the broken teeth.

Not every spacing case requires fixed braces.. not every case requires months of treatment.
Here is a case in which the midline gap was closed in 30days using removable appliance..
in cases when your tooth size is normal it is better to avoid ceramic/composite veneers. Though they give immediate results but the result may not be particularly satisfactory. (Cases in which initially composites were used and later the same patients have underwent orthodontic treatment will be presented here)
