The inaugural ceremony of Ayur Praveshika 2025–26, the transitional curriculum for the First Professional BAMS batch, was held on 10th November 2025 at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Naringana.
Shri Vikramdatta S., CHEAR, Retd. Indian Navy, IPDG, RI District 3181, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Inaugurator.
Dr. B.H. Sripathi Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, and Dr. Gangadhar Somayaji, Registrar, served as the Guests of Honour.

The inaugural ceremony is scheduled on 10th November 2025 (Monday). Shri Vikramdatta S, CHEAR, Retd. Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College, in association with the Yen Centre for Faculty Development (YEN-FDC), organized a National Level Faculty Development Program on “Performance Assessment Fundamentals: Bridging Theory and Practice.” The program was inaugurated by Dr. Animesh Jain, Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine, KMC, Mangaluru, who also delivered the keynote address. Dr. Mohammed Gulzar, Principal, YPC & RC, was the Chief Guest, and Dr. Abhay Nirgude, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, YMC, and Deputy Director, YEN-FDC, was the Guest of Honour.

The FDP featured four sessions by eminent speakers: Dr. Meera Jacob (OSCE/OSPE fundamentals), Dr. Swaroop Raj (DOPS), Dr. Janardhan Aithal (Mini-CEX), and Dr. Vidya Hegde (Portfolio and Multisource Feedback). A two-day workshop on Indian Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines & ICMR National Ethics Guidelines for Biomedical Research was conducted by Yenepoya Ethics Committee-1, organized by the Scientific Review Board, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, on 6th & 7th March 2025.
