Today, we were honored to welcome the Shri Milind S. Gokhale Ji
Managing Trustee & President of Manonandana Trust to Madhava Vana – one of our center's of Seva Bharathi, a Disability-friendly campus.
The visit included a walkthrough of our:

✅ Academic Block (1.50 lakh sq. ft) – Life cycle support:-1.Early intervention , 2.Special education, 3.Skill development, 4.Livelihood support, 5.Rehabilitation, 6.Life-term care and 7.Special Teachers’ Training College

🤝 We held a meaningful discussion on empowering Divyangs and ensuring quality & inclusive services.

Independence Day Celebrations Across All Units of Seva Bharathi ® Mangalore

Independence Day was joyfully celebrated at all our Seva Bharathi units.

Shri. MC Shankar Bhat , Shri Durga Parameshwari Mutt, Naringana proudly hoisted the National Flag at Madhava Vana, Montepadavu.

Shri. Ajith Pai Maroor Entrepreneur, hoisted the National Flag at Roman & Catherine Lobo Residential School for visually Impaired, Mangalore

Smt. TA Shahnawaz, hoisted the national flag at Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangalore

We were honored to have Captain Brijesh Chowta, Hon'ble MP join the celebrations at one of our units, along with his team.

The day featured a vibrant cultural program promoting national unity, presented by our talented Divyang students. Parents and well-wishers joined us in making the occasion memorable.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and made this day special.

Empowering Divyangs - Inclusive Services & Infrastructure
Recently, we had the privilege of hosting a meaningful discussion with the People’s Representatives of Dakshina Kannada District, focused on empowering Divyangs and delivering quality, inclusive services.
👥 Participants included:
Captain Brijesh Chowta, Hon'ble MP
Dr. Bharat Shetty Y., Shri D. Vedavyasa Kamat, Mr. Rajesh Naik U., Shri Harish Poonja, and Smt. Bhagirathi – Hon'ble MLAs
Shri P.S. Prakash, CEO of Hosadigantha along with local leaders, community members, well-wishers of Seva Bharathi, trustees, and Seva Bharathi team.
They were taken through a complete walkthrough of our disability-friendly campus, showcasing the importance of accessible infrastructure and how such spaces can transform lives.
We emphasized the need for disability-friendly environments in all public and private spaces, ensuring dignity, equal opportunity, and true inclusion for all

🌱Plantation Drive at Madhava Vana Campus -Seva Bharathi® Mangalore
Seva Bharathi® Mangalore, in collaboration with the Mangaluru Branch of SIRC of ICAI and SICASA of ICAI, successfully organized a Plantation Drive at the Seva Bharathi Madhava Vana Campus, Montepadavu.
We were honored by the presence of esteemed dignitaries:

A fully accessible, Divyang-friendly campus is now ready to welcome children with intellectual disabilities (Divyangs).

🏫Campus Construction Update | Seva Bharathi – Madhava Vana

The dream of the guardians of Divyang individuals is becoming a reality at Madhava Vana, Montepadavu, (Mangaluru). With the generous donation of 5.97 acres of land by the late Dr. Madhav Kamath, and the support of the Infosys Foundation, a fully accessible, new campus is coming up for children with intellectual disabilities (Divyangs).

✅ Academic Block (1.5 lakh sq. ft) – Lower & Upper Ground Floors Completed
First Floor – Hostel with individual accommodations for Residential Special School Children (Children with Intellectual Disabilities )& Special Teachers’ Training College – Work in Progress
👧🏻 Inclusive Campus to Support 500 Children
🛏️ Residential Facility for 250 Students
🎯 Target Completion – End of this August
