Some people still think psychiatry isnt “real medicine”
But the brain isnt imaginary 🧠

Mental illnesses are not opinions or personality flaws,
they are disorders involving neurochemistry, neural circuits & physiology.

You wouldnt question treatment for the heart or kidneys… so why question treatment for the organ that controls everything?

Psychiatry is MEDICINE.
Just because you cant always see it, doesnt mean its not real.

And the real harm?

These myths delay help, increase stigma & make people suffer in silence.

Let’s stop trivializing brain disorders
and start respecting them like any other medical condition.

World Autism Awareness Day…
but awareness without understanding is just noise.

Autism isnt something to “fix”
Its something to understand, support nd respect.

This isnt about labels
it’s about how a brain perceives, processes nd experiences the world differently.

And the real problem?
Not autism.

👉 Society that refuses to adapt.

Less judgment.
More accommodation.
Less forcing “normal”
More accepting different.

🧠 Because different doesn’t mean less.

April Fools’ Day…
but some jokes have gone on for decades.
Mental health myths aren’t harmless.
They gaslight. They invalidate.
They delay people from getting help.
And the worst part?

They are said so casually…
people start believing them.

🧠 “Just be strong”
🧠 “Its all in your head”
🧠 “You are overreacting”

No.
Thats not advice.
Thats ignorance dressed as wisdom.

If you have ever been told any of these...
you werent weak.
You were just surrounded by people who didn’t understand.
