Goa Ophthalmological Association (G.O.A.) was awarded the “ Best State Society” today for
Promoting Scientific and Educational activities in Ophthalmology for the year 2023-24 in the respective category at the inaugural ceremony of AIOC Kolkata!
As the G.O.A. Secretary, I had the honour to receive the prestigious award along with my state president Dr. Alethea Barbosa on behalf of our association !
This is the first time that our association has been awarded with this national award since its inception !
From attending the first All India conference in New Delhi as a lost PG student to receiving this award as the secretary of G.O.A., life has indeed come a long way!
A memorable moment for me indeed….
