1992 was legit our best year. Aroosa had our hearts. She had naturally curly hair and curly haired girls all over the world found out that curls are beautiful!!! If somebody has told the rubia at that time that she will be one day sat across (forever Aroosa to us) I would’ve laughed.

Over the years you forget how hard you worked to get here. All you see is that you made it. Some days you feel you don’t even deserve the success. You feel like an imposter. Did I really work in all those hospitals. Did I really go through all those specialities. Deliver babies. Assist in nephrectomies. Work endless night shifts. Leave my baby with childcarers. Save and slaved endlessly for exams fees, courses, then travel across the country for those exams. But looking back it was awesome. I loved it. And I made it.
If I can. So can you. Enjoy the journey. It will be over some day. Just out one foot in front of the other. And just keep swimming.
