Ratri is night & charya is routine,So,here's the list of what routine one must follow at night according to Ancient text....
🌻 Dinner should be consumed in the first prahar(first 3 hours )of night.
🌻Dinner should be light as compared to the lunch & easy to digest,avoid tea,coffee & spicy food.
🌻 Don't forget to walk 100 steps or sit in vajrasana after dinner.
🌻 Touching eyes with moist fingers relieves stress & soothes eyes.
🌻 Padabhyanga i.e foot massage with oil is Ideal to do before going to bed,it's very beneficial for your eyes.
🌻Having Golden milk at night is healthier option.
🌻Read your favourite book.
🌻One should thank God before sleeping & remember what's done in the full day.
🌻Try to sleep in left lateral position.

Sandhya is the evening time(between 5pm to 8pm) & Charya is routine,there are 5 actions that are contraindicated in evening time,Let's know what are they according to our ancient text.......
🌼Intake of food- Eating in evening leads to indigested food, formation of ama(toxins)& eventually diseases.
🌼 Indulging in sexual activities during this time of the day leads to foetal abnormalities.
🌼 Sleeping at this time results in poverty,loss of wealth & intelligence.
🌼 Reading/Studying in evening leads to ayu hani or bad effects on life.
During that time when the ancient text were written there were no source of light & studying in dark leads to bad effects on our body & mind but now it's ideal to not study when it's the time of prayers for 1hr or so i.e when we put "dia bati"in our homes ,we should have some time for God & pray when everyone in our home prays...
At this time we should read Holy books...
🌼 Walking long distance during evening leads to fear of darkness.
But today everyone prefers an evening walk as there are sufficient light on the roads & no fear of darkness which is fine.

So,The main thing is evening is the time when one should Pray & leave all the other activities,Read the Holy books & come closer to the God,Make some time to connect to the creator himself i.e God! You well relieve your stress & feel the peace within....

🌻 Getting up in Bhramamuhurt ie 96 minutes before sunrise.
🌻Malotsarg-Evacuation of bowels & personal hygiene.
🌻 Dantadhavan & Jivha nirlekhan-Brushing teeth and cleansing tongue.
🌻Anjana I.e.Collyrium-Applying medicated kajal in eyes.
🌻Nasya-Nasal instillation of medicated oil.
🌻 Gandush-Oil pulling.
🌻 Dhoompan-Medicated smoke inhalation.
🌻 Abhyanga-Oil Massage.
🌻 Vyayam-Exercise.
🌻 Udvartan-Ayurvedic powder massage.
🌻 Snan-Bathing
