129th foundation day of Wanless hospital was observed with thanksgiving service in chapel. WH choir sang melodious numbers. Housekeeping presented a special number on greatness of God. Dr. Dhanawade, Chairman CCC greeted all guests. Director Dr. Quraishi gave a meaningful sermon. This was followed by refreshments and a group photo on the tennis ground. Dr. Sanjay Salunkhe, chief guest spoke about his memories as a student and also as a patient attendant in Wanless, when his Dad was miraculously saved due to timely resuscitation by an alert ICU nurse in Add CCU. His dad lived for 27 years after that incident. Dr. Salunkhe inaugurated an archived photo exhibition . Dr. Prakash Amnapure, President IMA shared of his good days in Wanless campus. Dr. Rohit Kolkhombe, MPJAY, Shri G Khadkikar,MPCB, Shri Sawantre, PI, Shri Makarand Deshpande, Shri Sandeep Awati, Dr. Mateen Shaikh, Secretary IMA, Dr. Shashikant Dorkar, Dr. Riyaz Mujawar and many others offered their best wishes. The Collector Dr. Abhijit Choudhari who has been extremely cooperative and helpful was specially felicitated on this special day by the Director Dr. Prabha Quraishi. All staff participated with enthusiasm. Dr Suresh Samudre gave a donation on this occasion. Mrs. V Suryawanshi, Mrs. Nalini Samudre, Mr. M V Kolhe, ex Nursing Superintendents, Mrs. Raswanti Chavan, Mrs. Shobha Pawar and other retired staff attended the service. Rev Vishal More gave the closing benediction. There was contributory fellowship lunch in the afternoon at IHR.
