On 18th November 2025, Rotary District 3170's Governor Rtn. Arun Bhandare made a goodwill visit to Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital, Miraj. Managing Trustee & Executive Director of the hospital Dr. Shishir Gosavi informed Rtn. Bhandare about the activities of the hospital. Rtn. Bhandare shown keen interest in understanding the new technologies used in diagnosis & treatment of cancer. He also expressed pleasure & satisfaction over the functioning of the hospital.

संजीवन मेडीकल फाऊंडेशनच्या श्री सिद्धिविनायक गणपती कॅन्सर हॉस्पिटल, मिरज रुग्णालयाच्या वतीने दरवर्षी दिल्या जाणारा २०२५ सालचा बावीसावा डॉ. डी. के. गोसावी ओरेशन पुरस्कार वितरण सोहळा दि. ९ नोव्हेंबर २०२५ रोजी मोठ्या उत्साहात आणि दिमाखात रुग्णालयात पार पडला. या कार्यक्रमासाठी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून सांगली जिल्ह्याचे पोलिस अधीक्षक, श्री. संदीप घुगे लाभले होते.

रुग्णालयाचे संस्थापक डॉ. डी. के. गोसावी यांच्या स्मृतीप्रीत्यर्थ कर्करोगावर उपचार करणाऱ्या तज्ञ आणि नामांकित डॉक्टरांना हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. पुरस्काराचे हे बावीसावे वर्ष होते. यावर्षी हा पुरस्कार जागतिक कीर्तीचे शल्यविशारद आणि टाटा मेमोरीयल हॉस्पिटल, मुंबईचे उपसंचालक आणि शस्त्रक्रिया विभागाचे प्रमुख डॉ. शैलेश श्रीखंडे यांना कार्यक्रमाचे प्रमुख पाहुणे सांगली जिल्ह्याचे पोलिस अधीक्षक, श्री. संदीप घुगे यांच्या हस्ते प्रदान करण्यात आला.

22nd Dr. D. K GOSAVI Memorial Oration Award was awarded to Renowned Pancreatic Surgeon Dr. Shailesh V. Shrikhande Deputy Director & Head of Cancer Surgery, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai at Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital, Miraj at the hands of Shri. Sandip Ghuge (IPS), District Superintendent of Police, Sangli who presided over the function in presence of Mrs. Prabhatai Kulkarni, Vice Chairman & Dr Shishir Gosavi, Exe. Director & Dr. Mrs. Amita Gosavi, Jt. Exe Director.
Event was also attended by Dr Vikram Chaudhari, Professor Dept of HPB surgery at TMH Mumbai.

More than 100 participants attended the program and made it a huge success. Kudos to Organising Secretary and Medical Superintendent Dr. Ankita Gosavi, Dr. Sarang Gosavi
