Case Summary :Patient Information: �A 73-year-old male presented with a single, chronic discharging sinus over the lateral malleolus of the right ankle. At the time of consultation, no active pain or swelling was noted.History of Present Illness:�The patient had noticed a persistent, small opening over the lateral malleolus, occasionally discharging pus. The lesion was painless and had been present for few weeks. No associated fever or systemic symptoms were reported.Past Medical/Surgical History:* Significant history of knee surgery on the same limb.* No known history of diabetes, trauma or tuberculosis.Clinical Examination:* A small, raised lesion over the lateral malleolus with a central chronic sinus tract.* No tenderness, no surrounding erythema or induration.* No local rise in temperature.* Discharge observed at the time of examination. Diagnosis:�Chronic osteomyelitis with discharging sinus of the lateral malleolus.Homeopathic Management:* Remedy prescribed based on the totality of symptoms and miasmatic background.* Treatment duration: 15 days.* No allopathic medications were used concurrently.Outcome:* Complete resolution of discharge and healing of the sinus was observed within 15 days.* No recurrence or fresh symptoms reported on follow-up.* Patient remained asymptomatic and satisfied with the outcome.
