This little baby girl came into the world at 35 weeks after a pregnancy filled with challenges — maternal diabetes, hypothyroidism, IHCP, and the anxiety of an antenatal finding of echogenic bowel. Amniocentesis was done, every scan was followed carefully, and every day carried both hope and uncertainty.
After birth, the battle became even tougher. She developed gangrenous gut and underwent a major high-risk surgery at such a tiny age. There were moments when the situation felt overwhelming, moments when everyone feared the worst, and moments where prayers became as important as treatment.
But this little warrior chose to fight.
Through NICU days, surgeries, tears, strength, resilience, and the unwavering faith of her parents and medical team — she kept proving us wrong in the most beautiful way.
And today, watching her smile, celebrate, and finally go home reminds us why we never stop believing in miracles, medicine, and hope.
Some babies are born small… but carry extraordinary courage within them. 💕
