BTS! yesterday we held a regional campaign trying to raise money for a little one's cancer treatment, the mother a home maker and father a daily laborer. The family was told by the local hospital that expected cost is very high and hence we came together with best of TV hosts, subject experts and the people of Punjab to raise money for his treatment. And I'm positive that we reached our target. Little wins ❤️

Delivered a lecture on "Novel insights into cisplatin induced nephrotoxicity". Cisplatin is a chemotherapy agent commonly used in chemotherapy regimens in children with germ cell tumors or bone tumors. It's side effects need to be dealt with caution by experts who are well versed in it and newer information is emerging everyday!

The session was well attended by leading nephrologists and oncologists of tricity.

In March 2025, a group of passionate Pediatric Oncologists, health professionals, government officials and NGOs came together for a cause that's close to their hearts. Improving access to care for children diagnosed with cancers ANYWHERE in India. We brainstormed for two days straight, thinking about the possible problems a family faces when diagnosed with cancer, the possible problems a peripheral health care doctor faces when such a baby comes to their OPD and what can be done to fix that. I'm proud to be a part of this movement. Little steps big changes, coming up!

Seeing myself through children's eyes is such a humbling experience. They look so wide eyed at you and they simply marvel at your very existence. And like I always say, it's me who gets to learn so much from them. One day they have low cell counts, 4 days later she will ask me if she can ride her bike and play badminton. Children are a joy indeed.
