Call for Scientific and Industrial Training (SIT) Programs
Dear Sir,
We, at Oniosome understand the vital role of formal scientific and industrial training for the fresh graduates from technical academic institutions. Such training programs and workshops are generally organized to provide the much needed actual field exposure and hands-on experience to the fresher. Thus, apart from the regular research and development activities at Oniosome, we also periodically organize short term (20 days to 45 days) and long term (2 months to 6 months) industrial training programs and workshops for undergraduate and post-graduate students of biotechnology, biomedical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences. The training programs are carefully tailored on the basis of course background of the students and are intended to provide a professional insight into their respective fields. The training offered during the short term programs would cover both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills expected from a beginner on joining an industrial or scientific organization. Apart from the technical training, the participants would also learn important aspects of scientific management, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), regulatory affairs and personal development. For long term programs, the participants would additionally have an opportunity to work on an ongoing industrial project of Oniosome. Various experts from industry and academia will be invited as resource person for the training program. Fresh graduates/post graduates or current students of B.Sc. (Applied Life Sciences)/ B.Pharm./ B.Tech. (Biotech.)/ M.Sc. (Applied Life Sciences)/ M.Pharm./ M.Tech. (Biotech.), are eligible to apply. Interested candidates can fill up the enclosed application form and send back to Oniosome. Selected candidates will be informed about the program dates and duration by email. The students should note that the application form should be forwarded by their respective Head of the Department (HOD).
