Being in touch with roots and culture is important for all to make their identity come alive. This also shows diversity in a society and keeps it refreshing. Sachdeva College of Pharmacy, Ghauran also believe in this and therefore, celebrated Teej Festival with great enthusiasm. Many students participated to show their hidden talent; however, the rest of the students enjoyed spectating the enjoyable activities done by the Participants. The organised activities included a Mehndi Competition, Bangle Design Making, Traditional Dance Competition and Speeches. All ideas of celebrating this festival were welcomed by the higher authorities, followed by the kind guidance of the esteemed Principal Sir, the respected HOD Ma'am and complete support of the Pharma Club Members. Moreover, the glimpses of each activity give insights into the motive of celebrating Teej. This festival gives strength, joy, positivity, and also adds wings to womanhood. At the end, participants were awarded by the Principal Sir, HOD ma'am and the concerned staff. However, among the girls, Ms. Neha was crowned Ms. Teej for donning traditional attire and active involvement in numerous activities throughout the day.

28th July, 2025 is celebrated as World Hepatitis Day. Being in the healthcare field, it is our responsibility to celebrate and raise awareness among people regarding this deadly disease. So, we as a part of Sachdeva College of Pharmacy, Ghauran, celebrated the day with several activities. We began with an oath, followed by speeches, and PowerPoint presentations by the students. This year's theme was " Hepatitis- Let's break it down". All our activities were centred around this theme. Students not only realised the value of health but also decided to keep others healthy by guiding them in the right way. The session ended with the valuable words of our worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr) VK Gupta, that awareness begins at home, and he encouraged everyone to spread the word about this disease to their family, society, and beyond. We, the pharmacists, should not forget how relevant and crucial our role is in keeping people aware of fatal diseases. India has a major number of patients suffering from Hepatitis, he added. The event concluded with the National Anthem, where all staff members and students stood together to honour our nation.

It is paramount to uplift oneself from time to time for the holistic development of the individual and society. By taking this as a motive, Sachdeva College of Pharmacy, Ghauran organised an expert lecture by Mr. Rajpal Singh on the theme "Current Challenges and Remedies for Career Growth". It was a complete guide for the faculty members to make them more enthusiastic to come out of their shells and work on their brighter side. Teachers have to work on more project work, publish papers, go for research and dive deep into the ideas of promoting students' growth. He added that they should focus on becoming a professor from a lecturer by giving very beautiful and scientific examples of LOCI, which means Loop of Continuous Improvement. By this, he wanted to explain that the Continuity of a professor's growth every year is a must to face the future challenges in the educational field. This can help to address the difficulty of students in any way. In addition, when the growth goes on on both sides, that is, of teachers and students, the growth of the institute will be the end result. In addition, the only responsibility of faculty members is to uplift their workplace with their progressive nature and support.

As a part of our College curriculum and system design, once again, Sachdeva College of Pharmacy, Ghauran, had organised a Campus Placement Drive on the 4th of July, 2025. The company named NB HealthCare Pvt. Ltd. joined us to place the interested aspirants. The interview was conducted by Mr. Charan Singla (Managing Director) and Ms. Manoj (HR Manager) of the company. A total of 6 students from B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy were selected for different positions in the company. We extend our gratitude to the interview team and the company, and we wish the selected students all the best!

Sports Meet 2025 – A Grand Celebration of Athletic Spirit
On 6th & 7th February 2025, the Sachdeva College of Pharmacy campus came alive with energy and enthusiasm as we hosted Sports Meet 2025.We were honored to have Mr. G.S. Sandhu, a renowned national boxing coach with numerous Asian, Commonwealth, and Olympic medals to his credit and a two-time Rashtrapati Award recipient, as our Chief Guest. Our Guest of Honour, Mr. Kamal Taneja, a well-respected name in the police department, also graced the occasion.Students showcased their passion, skill, and sportsmanship across 14 thrilling games, including: Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Arm Wrestling, Shot Put, Push-Ups, Chess, Carrom, Badminton, Tug of War, 100m Sprint Race, Three-Legged Race, Sack Race.The event was not just about winning—it was about teamwork, resilience, and the true spirit of sportsmanship. The thrill of competition, the joy of participation, and the lessons learned on the field made this event unforgettable.
