CL Gupta Eye Institute proudly hosted a successful CRC Distribution Camp, on 9th and 10th of July where 141 beneficiaries with visual, locomotor, intellectual, and hearing disabilities received essential assistive devices — restoring mobility, independence, and confidence.

We were deeply honored by the presence of VC, MDA Mr. Anubhav Singh and, remarkable Blind Officer Dr. Vikas Singh, whose journey is an inspiration to many. 👏

We were honoured to host Dr. GVS Murthy and the PRASO team from 20th to 26th June 2025 at CL Gupta Eye Institute. Their visit focused on the validation of “Avoidable Blindness-Free Villages” declared during 2020 — a milestone initiative supported by Operation Eyesight India, and Standard Chartered Bank.

Project Netra Vasant
We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sightsavers India and CL Gupta Eye Institute on 24th June 2025, marking the formal launch of “Netra Vasant”, a Rural Eye Health Program in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh.
The project aims to reduce the prevalence of blindness to below 0.34% by through universal eye health among rural communities during the period 2020–2025.
We were honored to host Mr. R.N. Mohanty (CEO), Mr. Jatin Tiwai (Director Program Operations), and Mr. Promod Tripathi (State Program Lead) from Sightsavers India, whose visit and collaboration have set a strong foundation for this impactful initiative. Together, we move a step closer to a future where everyone, regardless of where they live, has access to quality eye care.
