Junk food is full of saturated fat and tans fat that is responsible for raising the blood cholesterol level, leading you towards high risk of heart disease. Increasing the amount of daily exercise and reducing the stress can lead to a healthy heart.

Six tips to make your junk food less harmful:
French Fries:
The most delicious, loved and crispy French fries that everyone loves so much contains the most harmful fats i.e. trans fat. Fries contain high amount of salt. Trans fat raises the low density lipids (LDL, Bad Cholesterol) and lowers the High Density Lipids (HDL, Good Cholesterol).
Remedy:
Replace deep fried French fries with the baked ones. Baking reduces oil content making it healthier.
Cheese Pasta and Pizza:
The packaged food is delicious and is full of artificial taste enhancers. Contains the high amount of salt, fat etc can lead to high risk of cholesterol levels increasing the risk of heart diseases.
Remedy:
Addition of more amount of green vegetables, onions, tomatoes, olives and corm to your preparation. Use less amount of cheese. Use whole wheat pasta and pizza base.
Egg yolk:
Each egg contains 4.5gms of fat, 2.7gms of proteins and a little amount of carbohydrate. Egg yolk contains 58% of the total fat. Other nutrients are also present (Vit A B D)
Remedy:
User of green vegetable, green chilies, herbs with the egg. Use of whole wheat bread.
Butter:
Butter contains high amount saturated fats. Salted butter contain substantial amount of salt in it.
Remedy:
Use butter made up of low fat milk. Peanut butter is a great option containing amounts of proteins.
Red Meat:
Red meat contains the amount of saturated fat and can give high amount of cholesterol levels which in turn can worsen the heart conditions.
Remedy:
Use of white meat can help.
Aeriated drinks:
The most loved thirst smoother has a high risk for increased fat levels and heart diseases. They contain empty calories that have no nutritional values.
Remedy:
Replace fizzy drink with buttermilk, jaljeera, lassi etc.
