Success Story:
4 years old male child,
Acute presentation of right facial swelling, bilateral purulent nasal discharge, fever with chills since 6 days
CT PNS s/o (? Fungal) sinusitis with right maxillary cystic swelling
Patient was posted for endoscopic sinus surgery
It was a case of acute fungal sinusitis, which was cleared along with excision of cyst under general anaesthesia
Facial swelling immediately reduced after excision of cyst on operative table only
Patient is absolutely fine in post operative period

40 years old female, school teacher and habitual singer came to OPD with Hoarseness and breathy voice

On video laryngoscopy, she had mucosal cyst on left vocal fold, causing phonatory gap on adduction

The patient was posted for microlaryngoscopic excision of cyst,
Cyst was removed in toto

Patient is perfectly fine post operatively with Hoarseness and breathy voice vanished

Success story

An interesting case of Left ear Bullous myringitis
Successfully treated with oral medications for 5 days, at the end of treatment, the ear is absolutely normal and patient is more than happy!

(Bullous myringitis is characterized by appearance of multiple fluid filled vesicles on the surface of tympanic membrane, usually preceded by bout of URTI which is usually unattended by patient, leading to infection spreading to ear and causing ear ache, ear fullness, temporary deafness, and if vesicles rupture, reddish brown fluid coming from ear. )
