FOOD POISONING
Food poisoning is the illness caused by eating of contaminated food or other toxin in food associated with diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and fever.
Causes of food poisoning :
Infectious organisms like bacteria, virus and parasites and their toxins are the most common causes of food poisoning.
Raw and under cooked meat or poultry sometimes causes severe symptoms.
Spoiled fruits and vegetables and
poisoning by mushrooms are commonly found in rainy season.
Sign and symptoms:
1) Diarrhoea
2) Vomiting
3) Abdominal pain
4)Fever
5) Dehydration
6) weakness
