Back pain in pregnancy is very common… but you don’t have to just tolerate it. 🤍

3 simple things that really help:
1. Don’t sit or stand for too long
Take small breaks in between. Even a few minutes of stretching can relax your back.

2. Keep your body gently active
Safe prenatal yoga and guided movements reduce stiffness and support your spine.
3. Use support when your body asks for it
A comfortable pregnancy pillow at night and a maternity belt during the day can ease the lower back pressure.

Pregnancy is already doing so much inside your body - a little extra support makes a big difference.

If you’re looking for safe, gentle and practical guidance, you can join Prenatal Yoga with Dr. Paridhi Gupta where we focus on posture, pain relief, breathwork and preparing your body for a smoother labor.

Save this for the days your back needs some extra care.
Follow for more evidence-based practical pregnancy care. 🌼

💧When your water breaks, fear often takes over.
But awareness brings confidence.
This is where the TACO method guides you step by step.

T – Time
Note the exact time your water breaks.
Was it before contractions started or during active labor?
This timing matters more than most people realize.

A – Amount & Appearance
Was it a sudden gush or a slow continuous leak?
Clear or slightly pale fluid is usually normal.
Greenish, brown, or blood-tinged fluid needs immediate medical attention.

C – Contractions
Are contractions present or absent?
Their frequency, intensity, and rhythm guide the next decisions.
Water breaking without contractions is managed very differently than in active labor.

O – Odour
Amniotic fluid should be odourless or mildly sweet.
A foul, fishy, or strong smell may indicate infection and needs prompt evaluation.

✨ This window , after water breaks - is one of the most crucial yet least explained phases of labor.
And lack of knowledge often leads to panic and unnecessary interventions.

That’s why I created my
🌸 Exclusive 2-Day Labor Management Workshop 🌸

Inside the workshop, we cover:
• Stages of labor - what’s truly happening in your body
• Exercises & breathing techniques for each labor stage and to avoid tearing
• Induction methods - natural & medical (pros, cons, timing)
• Emergency C-section scenarios - how and why they happen
• Ayurvedic perspective of birthing & labor physiology
• Ayurveda + modern obstetrics integration
• Dietary guidance before, during & after labor
• How to take care of yourself in the early postpartum days
• And much more every mother should know before birth

This is not fear-based education.
This is real, informed, conscious, empowered and experience based birthing knowledge.

This is not just preparation.
This is birth literacy.

🤰First trimester fatigue can feel heavy ; both physically and emotionally.
If you’re exhausted all the time, please know this: you are not lazy, weak, or doing anything wrong.

Your body is adapting, your hormones are shifting, and a whole new life is being formed within you. That takes energy ; a lot of it.

Here are 5 gentle ways to support your body and recover from first-trimester fatigue 🌿

1️⃣ Rest without being guilty
This is not the phase to push, prove, or perform. Rest is a biological need right now. Every time you lie down, your body redirects energy toward nurturing your baby.

2️⃣ Hydrate better - add a pinch of sea salt
Simple hydration isn’t always enough. Adding a pinch of natural sea salt helps improve electrolyte balance, reduces dizziness, and supports energy levels. Sip slowly throughout the day.

3️⃣ Eat easily digestible meals & avoid constipation
Heavy, fried, or processed foods steal your energy. Choose warm, simple, gut-friendly meals that digest easily. A happy gut = better energy.

4️⃣ Move around gently
Total inactivity worsens fatigue. Gentle walks, light stretching, and supervised prenatal exercises improve circulation, reduce heaviness, and support hormonal balance; without exhaustion.

5️⃣ Sleep early, reduce screen time & avoid being sedentary
Late nights and excess screen time drain your nervous system. Early sleep supports hormone regulation, healing, and deep restoration.

If you’re tired, listen.
If you need to slow down, honor it.
This phase is temporary, but the care you give yourself now creates a strong foundation for your pregnancy 🤍

Save this. Share it with a mama who needs reassurance 🌸

Celebrating incredible strength of today 😇

Vaginal birth asks so much of a woman —
strength in her body, surrender in her breath, courage in moments when everything feels intense.
It is raw, powerful, and deeply transformative.

At the same time, choosing a C-section when the baby or mother needs ; it is also strength. There is no weakness in medical support — only wisdom and love.

Prenatal yoga is not about one “right” way to give birth.
It’s about helping a mother feel prepared, grounded, and confident — whether she labors, delivers vaginally, or walks into surgery with calm and clarity.

To every mother —
who breathes through contractions,
who trusts her body,
or who makes the brave decision for intervention —
you are powerful beyond words.

If you’re pregnant and want mindful movement, breathwork, and emotional support for your journey,
you’re always welcome in our prenatal yoga sessions. 🧘🏻‍♀️

With so much respect for motherhood,
-Dr. PG 🫰🏼
