"In order to empathize with someone's experience you must be willing to believe them as they see it and not how you imagine their experience to be. "
It's important to give significance to all our experience and emotions as they come. For some people it's stress that gets to them, for some it's a trauma. And at times asking for a hand is the biggest gift you can give yourself. Don't deny yourself that.

"Remember that your mental health is priority, your inner peace is essential and your self care is necessity."
Sometimes we need to blow off steam to someone who will not judge us. It is preferable to reach out to someone who can aid you rather than bottle up your concerns and sentiments.
The path is long and full of hurdles, don't worry just look for counsel.

By acknowledging the presence of stigmas attached to mental health and aiming to create awareness about the same, MHAC and HR Speaks, concluded their Mental Health Awareness Series with The Happiness Project workshop, in collaboration with The Upper Storey, on the Mental Health Awareness Day.

The session was truly relaxing and refreshing, with having to understand the importance of staying happy and loving and accepting ourselves.

From integrating art, to mindset makeover, to finally finding happiness within ourselves, this year's Mental Health Awareness Week took a different turn with much more serenity, peace, and hope.

As a part of our Mental Health Awareness Series, we had an enthralling session with Ms. Aradhana Mantri on "Mindset Makeover".

Whilst discovering ourselves, we learnt how important it is to explore one self, and understand our capabilities without second questioning. It was a session of self discovery, aimed towards realising one's maximum potential.

“Art is the meeting ground of the world inside and the world outside.”
-Elinor Ulman

An Art Therapy session was conducted by MHACxHRSpeaks. We had Dr. Fatema Slatewala with us who has 13 years of experience in Homeopathy and has inculcated Art in her therapy.

Indeed the session was all about painting away our blues, as the name suggests. With art, we learnt the power of creativity and how it helps in coping with our mental health.
