IHPBA 2024 Capetown was a wonderful amalgamation of hepatobiliary and pancreatic updates along with addressing various social and cultural issues in HPB surgery. Chairing the free paper session on liver was indeed an honour as was being selected to be part of the IHPBA Research Committee for the term 2024-2026.
