Sugar is vital source of energy and essential for our survival, but not all sugars are same.

Fruits, vegetables and dairy products have Natural Sugar and we don't have to be as concerned about because these foods have good amount of vitamins and minerals which are essential for our body.

Added sugars which are found in processed food are those we concerned about and most of us consume it very frequently.

Eating sugar makes you want to eat more sugar, which makes you more hungry.”

What happens when you overload on Processed Sugar ❓

🛑 Irritability
🛑 Low in energy
🛑 Craving for more sweet
🛑 Digestive issues
🛑 Lack in concentration
🛑 Cavities.

While it’s simply not realistic to avoid all added sugars in your diet, it’s a good idea to read labels, focus and pick healthier alternatives.

You must have heard lots of advices from many people about being healthy but healthy does not always mean physical health, it also means mental and social health. 🧿 GET ENOUGH SLEEP : Sleep is often low on the list in our nonstop work schedule, but it's a must for good health. If you don't usually wake up feeling refreshed, try sleeping into bed 15 minutes earlier every week until you do.

🧿 MOVE MORE SIT LESS:  In this busy world if you do not have time to go for 1 hour walk and do exercise, make it a point to stand up more often and stretch yourself atleast twice or thrice during the day [only for 5-10 minutes] Any movement is better than nothing.

🧿 CONTROL YOUR STRESS LEVELS: Everyone has stress; it's how you react to it that matters. Find a way to blow off steam, whether that's through exercise, meditation, or laughing with your loved ones. It sounds easy but very difficult to follow, so take a baby step and discuss with someone what you are trying to accomplish, that will support you to stick to your goals.

🧿 DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY: If you have a hobby or some activity you enjoy a lot, create time to do it atleast once a week. Also do it with someone, that will make you healthy socially & mentally.

🧿 PRACTISE GRATITUDE: which means being thankful for the good things in your life. It's helpful to do this every day, either by thinking about what you are grateful for or writing it down in a journal. Be thankful for big things and also for small things happening in your life.
