Food when consumed with awareness nourishes us rather than creating trouble for us. So be mindful of what's in the plate.

Listen to your body requirements. Our body tries to talk to us via various symptoms. So carefully observe what you eat and make the necessary changes to keep the body and mind at peace.

For example you eat spicy food the previous night and in morning you feel acidic or heart burn then your body is telling you "I cannot digest the spicy food you feeding me. I am facing lots of trouble because of the wrong food choice. So please be considerate next time and choose less spicy food"

Don't be harsh on yourself when it comes to eating out.

We all would agree that our body struggles a lot to digest the meals we eat in restaurants. A meal rich in animal fat such as butter and cheese is the number one culprit. And the next one is the amount of spices such as chilli and garlic that goes in making the dish.

Most of the cities now a days have plenty of vegan restaurants who use plant based cheese and butter. It is more fresh, healthy and loaded with nutrients. A vegan pizza or a vegan dessert will never make you feel lethargic. But don't end up overeating ๐Ÿ˜†

If you wish to reduce weight then consume 5% healthy fats daily.

If you wish to gain weight then consume 15-20% healthy fats in your diet daily.

Plant oil, especially cold pressed are also a good source of healthy fats.
