Through group counselling, psychotherapeutic techniques, arts based therapy, mindfulness practices, and many transpersonal processes, we will work together to empower the members to make a positive transition by moving from a state of emotional helplessness to emotional well-being.

“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind, always.”

Today being World Mental Health Day, let us remind ourselves that:

Its OK not to be Perfect
Its OK not to be Right all the time
Its OK not to feel Good all the time
Its OK to be Heard
Its OK to be vulnerable
Its OK to let it out
Its OK to ask for help
Its OK to feel emotions such as anger, frustration, jealousy, sadness, irritation and disappointment
Its OK to Love Yourself

And finally, Its OK ‘not’ to be OK.

Let us not lose HOPE and give ourselves the time and patience to heal. Let us also be kind and lend a listening ear to the ones silently suffering.

Today is WORLD SU***DE PREVENTION DAY
Although this post is coming in towards the end of the day, it is something to be aware of every day- That su***de can be prevented. And each one of us can help in preventing it.

Just a minute of our time to reach out to someone might change the course of their life.
If you know someone who is withdrawn, not communicating, is quieter than usual, seems to be preoccupied, is absent often, sleeping too much or too little, is avoiding others, getting angry and frustrated easily, is being indifferent or too oppositional, having mood swings- don’t hesitate to ask the person if he/she is okay. Speak to them, don’t let awkwardness stop you, or the feeling that you have no business prying in others lives. You may not realise it but your asking is all that they needed to feel that someone does care and that they are not lonely. That they are important. Your asking won’t make matters worse.
So hear the person, be the listener and be supportive. your compassion, your patience, your empathy and your concern - all of these will go a long way in helping the person hold back from taking a drastic step.
don’t worry about not knowing what to say,
offer your support to help them out, connect them with a professional who can help them.
Don’t ever say’ its all in your head and be strong, stop worrying.
don’t make them feel worse and weak about themselves then they are already feeling

The generosity of your time and presence could save a life.

FOR THOSE WHO FEEL THAT LIFE IS NOT WORTH LIVING-
Do remember-
YOU ARE IMPORTANT. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO CARE. YOU ARE TOTALLY WORTH IT.
WE ALL GO THROUGH LOWS AND PHASES WHICH FEEL LIKE THEY WILL NEVER GET OVER AND ARE PAINFUL.
BUT THEY DO GET OVER AND THAT'S THE TIME YOU WOULD RATHER BE ALIVE TO ENJOY WHAT YOU ARE HERE FOR.
YOU HAVE ALL THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR HELP AND YOU ARE NOT WEAK IF YOU ARE FEELING DEPRESSED, IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE.
EVERYONE IS TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF IT ALL.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP AND TO SUPPORT YOU, TO HELP YOU IN YOUR HEALING. SO REACH OUT.

AASHAYEIN- GROUP THERAPY FOR PEOPLE UNDERGOING DEPRESSION.
