Summer brings about changes in our skin. Doesn't it? Heat and humidity all day cause your skin to become extremely sensitive, resulting in rashes, sunburns, and acne to name a few.🙄

Additionally, sweat and excess moisture may cause your hair to fall flat and lose its volume.😩

Here are a few home remedies that can protect your skin and hair during summers.
Protect your skin and hair 💆‍♀️

1. Consume seasonal juicy fruits, such as watermelon, grapes, and pomegranate, as well
as fresh salads like cucumber, tomato, etc. These foods will help you to stay hydrated.🍅🥒🥗

2. Aloe Vera is very good for skin care. It contains antioxidants that protect the skin from
damage. Use fresh aloe vera gel from the leaf and apply it to the skin.🤩

3. Cucumber – yoghurt pack: Take half cucumber and 1 tablespoon of yoghurt blend it
well and apply this mixture to the face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse it
with fresh water. It will help to refresh the skin.😎

5. Foods rich in proteins, biotin (Egg yolk, almonds, walnuts) iron( Black Raises,

But what is the best diet for PCOS to lose weight? How hard is it to lose weight with PCOS?

Let's begin with understanding the meaning of Glaucoma it is a neurological disorder that results in deterioration of the optic nerve in the eyes.😑

Glaucoma is usually, but not always, the result of abnormally high pressure inside your eye. Over time, the increased pressure can erode your optic nerve tissue, which may lead to vision loss or even blindness.😵

However, It is highly likely to lead to irreversible blindness if proper attention and care are not exercised e.g. not consuming the best foods for glaucoma. The irony for glaucoma is that nearly half of those affected are not aware of its presence, which makes it even more dangerous.🙄

As per the status-quo, no cure for glaucoma exists and the medications used for it are singularly focused on lowering the elevated eye pressure. However, this doesn't always guarantee to prevent the further progression of the condition.🥸

While following a healthy diet isn't a magic bullet and can't prevent glaucoma, A recent study suggests that a diet that includes plenty of green, leafy vegetables may lower the risk of glaucoma.😇

So let's look at some of the top foods for eye health.🧐

However, their ingredients and nutrient compositions can vary substantially, with various proportions of protein, carbs, and fat.😵

Now let’s see some pros & cons of consuming such meal replacement shakes.

Pro:-
1) They are easy to drink on the go and may help you resist the temptation to indulge in unhealthy processed foods or fast foods. 🏃🏻‍♀️

It is believed that fasting and praying on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri receives the grace of the Lord and attains Salvation?🙌🏼

So here are a few fasting tips to help you all to stay healthy, hydrated, detoxified, and rejuvenated: physically and spiritually.😇

1. Mental Preparedness - Be stress-free, happy & calm so you can feel energetic & this will help you sail smoothly through the day. Always keep in mind that you are observing a fast towards a sacred and pure cause.

2. Drinks - Fasting may cause dehydration; drink at least eight glasses of water while you are fasting to purify your body.
It’s highly recommended to start our day with a healthy drink like smoothie, lemon water, coconut water, buttermilk after performing the puja. This will also allow us to keep ourselves healthy.

3. Dry fruits - Dry fruits prevent the body from becoming weak and keep the stomach full for a long time. We must definitely include a handful of dry fruits in the diet.
